Guitar 2 plays the chords when nothing else is indicated. They're the easiest to use if you bar all 6 strings, but just play the top 4. Just before you move to the next chord (from D to C, say), hammer your little finger onto the 9th (speaking of an interval, not a fret: that's 12th fret for the D, 10th for the C, 8th for the Bb, and 6th for the A). The hammer-on requires a little dexterity, since it's "behind" your other fingers, but if you can hit it hard enough, it sounds *really* good. Guitar riff 8 is really played by a synth, and then towards the end of the song, it's joined by a guitar that plays very nearly the same thing.
